Last updated: November 2026
Greyline Claims, a business of Greyline Projects LLC ("we," "us"), helps people recover unclaimed property. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Information we collect
- Public records. Names, last known addresses and property details published by state unclaimed property programs, and other public records we use to locate owners.
- Information you give us. Contact details and messages you send through our website, email or phone.
- Claim documents. If you hire us, the identification and proof-of-ownership documents a state requires to process your claim.
How we use it
We use your information only to contact you about property that may belong to you, respond to your questions, and prepare, file and follow up on claims you've authorized. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share claim documents only with the state agency processing your claim, and with service providers who help us operate (for example, the form service that delivers website messages to our inbox, and secure document storage), under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information when required by law.
How we protect it
Identification and claim documents are stored in access-restricted, encrypted storage and kept only as long as needed to complete your claim and meet record-keeping requirements. We'll never ask you to send ID documents or Social Security numbers through our website form or by unsecured email.
Your choices
You can ask us to stop contacting you, or to access or delete information we hold about you, by emailing contact@greylineclaims.com. We'll honor requests except where we must keep records by law.
